Only a name and email are required to register, but users are able to add further contact information and personal information in order to support further networking. The Network section includes a directory of member profiles, as well as a map.

Your user profile can be adjusted at any time through the My Settings section. The edit screens include various notes about the specifics of the user profile.

Privacy is an important issue on the internet. Here are some clarifications that may help you navigate your own privacy concerns.

• Only name and email are required. 
• All other profile information is optional.
• Your email address will not be visible through the TransFaith Network, unless, you choose to enable email display through that profile setting.
• You can send and receive private messages without revealing your email address.  The private messaging system is web-based, although email notifications can be activated.
• The directory of user profiles is only available when a registered user is logged in. The user profiles are not available to the anonymous public (e.g. Google search engine).
